Time to shift those feelings

When you get stuck & can’t see the good anymore, it is time for self love & trust.

This feeling is normally because you are holding on to something that is not true. I have these days every now & then that floor me.  That no matter what I do or see, I can’t shake this feeling .  And this is my go to list, to help me.  My favourite ways to shift these feelings well & truly.

HAVE A SHOWER OR BATH
This is my heaven. I have created a ritual including candles, body scrubs & chakra cleansing to re-connect to my soul.  My husband pushes me through the door & generally asks me to stay in there ‘as long as I need.’  That’s when I know I need a bath!  2 cups of epsom salts & some lavender oil & I come back lighter and free.  My other fave is to light the candles, & turn off the lights when have a shower – watching the mist around me – it feels like I have stepped back in time & just takes me out of my head.

GO FOR A WALK

If I can find the energy, this works!  It is perfect when I need clarity on a situation & have found myself going in circles in my head. Somehow walking, looking at the flowers, the birds, the creek, the sky & a new glimpse or idea slowly emerges & helps me find insight.

CLEANSE YOUR ENERGY
Start a daily routine.  This will help you so immensely.  Start by fluffing your aura like a cloud & then ask your intuition to ensure all of your chakra’s are cleansed, balanced & aligned with my soul.  If this is new for you,  I will be sharing a gorgeous way to physically cleanse your chakra’s.  It is simple & life changing.  Watch this space!

ASK FOR HELP
I just had that song pop in my head by Michael Jackson – ‘You are not alone.’  I reckon that is one of the biggest reasons we get stuck, we feel as though we are the only person who can fix this.  This is completely not true!!  You have an amazing support network that is available any time you ask.  Call them guides, guardian angels, the universe, your soul, whatever you are comfortable with.  Ask for guidance, clarity, optimism…. “some help here, please people!”

MEDITATE
Head to a quiet space, relax your body & release.  Focus on the sounds you can hear in the background or just the sound of your heart breathing.  Find a space where you can quiet your mind.

GRATITUDE
Do a pro’s & con list of all the sucky reasons why you are where you are as well as all the good reasons you are in this space.  Spend time focusing on all the things you feel grateful for.  There is a reason you are where you are at the moment.  Trust that the universe has your back & there is a reason for all of this.

RELEASE
Write down everything that is eating away at you that no longer serves you.   (or take the ‘con’ part of your list above.)  The negative emotions, the responsibilities I have taken that are not mine, the worries that I cannot control & then I burn them. (as safely as possible.)  Or just rip into a gazillion pieces.

VISUALISATION
Imagine all the heaviness you are feeling is leaving your body. You could imagine wrapping it up and pulling it out, or just allowing it to dissolve or float away. Whatever works to lift the heaviness out of your energetic field.

Remember, this is an important phase.  You are in the midst of ditching something that is no longer serving you & this is how you grow & challenge yourself.  Trust this is happening for a reason.  You are doing an amazing job & you will get through this, stronger & able to handle even more.
