This has been hands down one of the simplest ways I have transformed my life.
This activity works on the basis that there are things you believe that are not entirely true. This could be fears you have that you cannot explain, when you worry about the future, or past events that have shaped who you see yourself as.
Whatever the case, there are some simple techniques you can use, to release these beliefs from your body. Any negative events or beliefs from these can be stored in your body and can effect you physically as a similar situation arises. This could be anxiety, tension or overall stress to the body.
I had a number of these beliefs that were affecting my body to the stage that I lost the ability to walk or control my bladder. I was diagnosed with a stress disorder. When I was released from hospital, I was on the hunt for any way to heal my body. I tried yoga, and meditation, but this didn’t really make a difference at this stage.
I then discovered the term “Energy Medicine” and kineseology. Within this framework, I uncovered a whole range of activities that could help me physically feel better. This one of my favourites for you to practice with:
- RELEASE RESPONSIBILTY: Write down a list of all the jobs you or others have given you over the years that you somehow feel responsible for. This could be related to your siblings, you parents, friends, family, children, work, your body and health. Whatever you feel, write this down. Keep writing until your mind feels empty & nothing more falls out of your pen.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: By releasing responsibility, you are in a better position to help. I know this may sound strange, but when say a friend is upset and you feel responsible for them (whether this is their job, partner, friend etc), you can take this situation personally. By releasing responsibility, you can have a completely open mind and really hear their issues.
- Take this piece of paper and rip it up into many tiny pieces or throw it into a fire.
My brother and I visited an old Chinese Temple together. We were told how the village that lived nearby would enter the temple with their list of wishes. They would burn these in the temple, and the smoke rising up was believed to be the wishes heading up to the gods. The villagers would then ring the bell to make sure the gods heard their wishes. If within a couple of weeks the wish had not come true, such as rain for their crops, the villagers would take out the idol and kick it around outside to ‘teach it a lesson.’ Then it was returned and expected to do what was asked.
Whenever I have a few things weighing on my mind, I follow this process and relinquish control to the universe. I believe there may be better options or even solutions available if I ask for assistance. This is also a great way to release the pressure you may not realise you have placed on yourself.
